| OCTOBER is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Awareness Month SIDS Fact Sheet (English) (Spanish) Click here for more resources Community Baby Shower for Safe Sleep - Saturday, October 1, 2011 The Black Nurse Association and the National Association of Hispanic Nurses will educate African American pregnant women and their support systems on safe sleep. Based upon availability, a safe crib and wearable blanket will be provided to pregnant women who attend and receive the training.
